Blacktown Key Venues 2019/20 Year in Review

In 2019/20 Blacktown International Sportspark Sydney hosted 3, 915 events, with a total visitation of 409, 524. 15 international teams across the various codes of sport descended on the Sportspark for training and competition, displaying the international nature and the quality of the Sportspark’s facilities.

Some of the key events that took place at Blacktown International Sportspark Sydney included:

  • Super 6 High Performance join Blacktown International Sportspark family

  • AFL National Inclusion Carnival and the GWS Giants v Sydney Swans JLT Community Series match.

  • The Sportspark also hosted the Blacktown Relay for Life and Wheelchair Sports NSW - Symmer Down Under Series

  • 2019/20 Sydney Blue Sox home games

  • Women’s National Cricket League (WNCL) matches for NSW Lend Lease Breakers

  • ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2020 training venue for India, Thailand, West Indies and England

  • WBBL match between Sydney Thunder v Melbourne Renegades

  • Opening of Western Sydney Wanderers Centre of Footballl, the permanent training and administration HQ at the Sportspark

  • Chinese Taipei's Womens National Football team train at Blacktown International Sportspark for Olympic Qualifiers

  • Australia Pacific Cup held with teams from Australia, Japan, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand and Chinese Taipei.

  • Softball Summer Slam Series

  • Softball Open Men's National Chamionship, Australian  U18 Men’s & Women's National Championships
